Frauenheld Scaramouche wird Opfer einer Sabotageaktion gegen Napoleon. Von nun an flüchtet er mit Kumpel Felix. Durch irre Zufälle landet er bei der Armee und in die Arme der schönen Josephine. Diese ist allerdings die Frau Napoleons...

Der Titelsong 'Scaramouche' wird gesungen von Daniel Sentacruz Ensemble und komponiert vom Trio Bixio - Frizzi - Tempera !
Die internationale Fassung hat zum Teil einen anderen Soundtrack und wurde etwas gekürzt. Im Deutschen gab es einige Handlungsschnitte und auch einen Zensurschnitt um hierzulande eine FSK 6 zu bekommen. Spätere TV-Ausstrahlungen und VHS-Veröffentlichungen basieren auf diese gekürzte Kinofassung. |
