Interview mit Cary Guffey:

Ich könnte mir durchaus vorstellen, dass er sich zumindest in Close Encounters of the Third Kind selbst gesprochen hat.

Re: Englische Stimmen

Re: Englische Stimmen
Thanks everyone! Glad to able to be of some help.
Anyway, you're right about Spafford. He is indeed the voice of René Kolldehoff in ALL THE WAY, BOYS, but also in A REASON TO LIVE, A REASON TO DIE.
Yeah, that's Robert Spafford. 100% sure! His gruff, rusty voice is very recognizable.Chickadee hat geschrieben: ↑Di 27. Feb 2018, 12:45 Hi Johan, nice to hear from you.
I just made a sample of Bud in Soldier of fortune:

Yes, the big question is indeed whether it's actually Robert Sommer or not, and if all of the dubbers in that list have been correctly identified. I'm a little picky in this regard because I always like to double-check these things before accepting it as correct.LewtonCole hat geschrieben: ↑Di 27. Feb 2018, 17:37 Hi Johan,
I had posted this here link on page one of the thread: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... o6ZBIYXQg9 It leads to sound samples of Robert Sommer as well. I second Schlitzi's opinion that it's him on Bud. (Provided that those sound samples are really Robert Sommer's, of course )

Re: Englische Stimmen
Here are two short clips I made from the English-dubbed version of IL VERO E IL FALSO/THE TRUE AND THE FALSE:
https://youtu.be/SQyViMxuahc
https://youtu.be/-mVdiNHSU6Y
Sorry about the interruption in the picture in the second clip. I'm rather an amateur when it comes to creating such video clips.
Anyway, here are the names of the dubbers I recognized:
Martin Balsam - Edward Mannix
Terence Hill - Frank von Kuegelgen
Paola Pitagora - Silvia Faver
Vittorio Sanipoli - Richard McNamara
Piero Gerlini - Kenneth Belton
Pietro Tordi - Robert Spafford
Enzo Robutti - John Gayford

Re: Englische Stimmen
Since you mentioned "A Reason To Live, ...": I think Bud has another voice in the partially newly dubbed full length English version of the film that the shorter "Massacre At Fort Holman" 89min edit. I have to double-check that as well
Do you perhaps also know who was voicing the late James Coburn in the full length version then?

Re: Englische Stimmen
I don't know anything about different versions or dubs of A REASON TO LIVE. It sounded like Richard McNamara to me on the 89 min version I found on YouTube, but I admittedly just skimmed through it since the quality is terrible. No idea about Coburn's voice (haven't seen the longer version so I can't comment about his voice there or if it's a different one, but José Suarez is dubbed by the ever-present Edward Mannix.

Yes McNamara can I hear there as well. Sorry for my english. Do you recognized the Voice of Bud in Hippopotamus?
What about the both Nobodys! Is that Roger Browne there for Terence Hill? I'm not really sure about that.

Re: Englische Stimmen
Eli Wallach ist er selbst. Frank Wolff keine Ahnung, der war nach meinem Dafürhalten sogar in "Once Upon A Time In The West" synchronisiert.
