Cannon-Videohüllentext: Ein Hubschrauber landet auf der Plattform einer Forschungsstation mitten im Bermuda-Dreieck. Bei der Bergung eines russischen Atom-U-Boots wurde eine Stein-Platte entdeckt, dessen Hochfrequenzsignale alle Instrumente lahmlegen. Durch den Druck einer atomaren Explosion wird die Station von einer riesigen Wasserwelle vernichtet und das sagenumwobene Atlantis taucht aus den Fluten auf. Drei Überlebende der Katastrophe und die kleine Besatzung eines Schmuggelboots stranden auf Atlantis. Die erste Begegnung mit den Atlantiden - wild anzusehen und mit enormen Waffen ausgerüstet - macht ihnen blitzschnell klar: Es geht ums nackte Überleben.
